I’m Shannon (she/her), a counselor, social worker, educator, and consultant in private practice. I have over 12 years of experience working extensively in international schools in the United States, Europe and Thailand.

I specialize in working with pre-teens, adolescents and young adults, especially members of the LGBTQI+ community.

I have been living and working in Bangkok, Thailand, since 2020. Originally from Chicago in the United States, I hold a Master of Clinical Social Work and have extensive experience supporting adolescents and families within international school communities in Europe and Thailand, as well as experience working within hospital and medical settings. Working cross-culturally has deepened my commitment to culturally responsive care and to understanding how identity develops across different social and cultural contexts. My approach is trauma-informed, resilience-oriented, and grounded in affirming care.

Beyond individual therapy, I work as an educator and consultant with counselors and schools seeking to create more inclusive and affirming environments for LGBTQI+ youth. I believe meaningful change happens not only within individuals but within the systems that surround them.
